Graeme Crosby
Inducted in 1995
Graeme Crosby had a love for speed that was manifested in a brief but spectacularly successful international motorcycling career.
Sporting Category:
  • Motorsport
Crosby was Formula One road race champion on a Suzuki in 1980 and 1981 and in 1982 he’d switched to Yamaha and was second in the 500cc championship.

He also won the taxing and technically difficult Suzuka eight-hour race in Japan as well as the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy.

He then quit motorcycling at the top level and took up four-wheelers, driving successfully in saloon car racing, mostly in New Zealand and Australia.
